Today after work I put up a few more Halloween decorations. The top image is my witch on her broomstick that I hung from a candle holder by my front door. The bottom image shows the cheesecloth I put up on the door underneath my wreath and you can also see the green spider outside underneath my porch light that I put up last week. Once the man got home we had some dinner and I watched my recording of Heart of Dixie before going to bed.
Tuesday, 10/25/11
After work today I found my spider candle holders and put them on my two couch tables. Once the man got home from work we headed out to Rubio’s to grab some fish tacos - his with cabbage, mine without. We came home and relaxed a bit, watched Tosh.0 and Workaholics, then went to bed.
Monday, 10/24/11
After work today I took out some more Halloween decorations and made my entrance a bit more fun! The first image has a glittery black skeleton hanging from a white board with some window gel decals on the while board and magnetic stips on the side. The second image is the garage door facing the inside of the house with a paper skeleton on it and another window gel decal. We later made dinner, watched Two and a Half Men and Mike and Molly, then went to bed.

Today was finally moving day and thank goodness it was only down the street! My parents, the man and I woke up around 7, ate a delicious breakfast, then we all got straight to business. The man and my dad loaded up garage stuff in the pick-up, the motorcycles on the trailer, and took the first load over. My mom and I finished the kitchen and did some cleaning. Once my parents friends arrived we started loading the U-Haul up and really worked our muscles. After 2 U-Haul trips it was time to return it before being charged a second day. That was the end of it for us, but my parents would still have to return the next week to take a few more loads w/ their truck and trailer. We called it a night and headed home to relax and watch Dexter and Homeland then went to bed.

Saturday, 10/22/11
Today the man had worked so I did some relaxing then cleaning around the house. Once he got home we grabbed a quick dinner and headed up to my parents house to assist with the enjoyable task of packing and moving. The picture above shows a portion of what my mother had packed and ready to go in the spare room. The man helped my dad take stuff down from the rafters in the garage while my mom and I packed the last room - the kitchen. After packing through to 1 am we decided to head to bed and prepare for moving day tomorrow.

After work today I headed over to Acapulco with a few of my co-workers and my boss to get my drink on! I had my usual strawberry margaritas, and the man showed up later to hang out with us. The man’s older sister and her husband just so happened to plan a night out there as well so we ran into them. The co-workers and boss left around 9 so we hung out with the man’s sister and husband. After a few more drinks and shots (for everyone but me) we were all on the dance floor having fun and probably looking like fools! We left there around 11:30 (I had stopped drinking so I was driving) and the man saw that my girlfriend had checked in at a bar down the street so we pulled in, parked, and surprised her with our precense. We hung out there for a bit then headed home where I finished off the last of this Captain Morgan Tattoo bottle with one more drink before bed. Cheers!

After work today I relaxed for a bit and continued to rummage through my Halloween decorations to find spots for them. Since my kitchen / little hallway was looking lonely I put up this skull garland above the hallway closet. Once the man got home we made some dinner and sat around. While watching Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice I painted my nails with a light pink base color and some cute pink sparkles on top.
Wednesday, 10/19/11
After work today the man and I ate a quick dinner and relaxed for a bit. Around 7 we headed to his mothers house because we were going to take her to LAX. We loaded up the Camry, made a quick stop at Starbucks for coffee and hot chocolate, then got on the road. Checking her in with over 100 pounds of luggage was not fun, but we eventually got it handled and she was on her way to El Salvador.I took the first image on the way up there in the carpool lane and love the blurriness of it. I took the second image when we were leaving and it is the Encounter Restaurant, which is right around the Airport buildings. I think someday we will have to make reservations and give this place a try since it looks like a fun building to see the city from.
Tuesday, 10/18/11
Today the man and I ate Noodles and Co. at Rod McLeod Park for lunch. I ordered the Pesto Cavatappi with chicken in a party tray for 4 because it costs only a bit more than 2 regular orders and we would have plenty of leftovers. After eating we goofed around on the playground and went to the little look out area to see this fine city of Escondido. After work we didn’t do anything special and eventually went to bed.

Monday, 10/17/11
After work today I came home and relaxed. While waiting for the man to get home I decided to add another Halloween decoration outside and put up this glittery green spider from Walmart underneath our porch light. Once the man got home we made some dinner then proceeded to watch Two and A Half Men and Mike and Molly as usual. We bummed around a bit more then headed to bed.
Sunday, 10/16/11
Today I had the great idea of getting some pumpkins for the spooky holiday coming up. I thought we would go to Bates Nut Farm to get the whole pumpkin patch experience and since it has been a few years since the man and I have been there. We headed out in the late morning and upon arriving noticed that traffic was building. As we slowly inched our way closer and closer to the main street they are off of we realized there were just too many mini-vans and wagons and decided to pass on by. Thank goodness the man knows the back roads around there so we headed home a different way than we came. We stopped at Lake Wohlford to enjoy the sun and watch the few families sitting on the shore with their fishing lines out. We then got back on the road and went to a small little pumpkin patch in San Marcos to get my pumpkin fix. These bad boys now sit on my bench by the front door so they can greet our guests. Later we watched Dexter and Homeland as usual and went to bed.
Saturday, 10/15/11
Today while the man worked, I went up to my parents house. Since we bought some uncooked pies at Julian last week, I figured we should finally bake them; so that is what my mom and I did. The pie shown is the Apple Mountain Berry Crumb which I took home, and we left my parents the Dutch Apple Crumb. On my way home going south on the I215 I spotted this fun trolley looking bus and was actually able to snap this while I was just about to pass it. Once I was home I started making dinner - Stouffers Steak Gorgonzola and some Valley Fresh Veggies. Both items were quite tasty and we will def. try more of those Stouffers meals.

Friday, 10/14/11
After work the man and I made some dinner, then he proceeded to play some Midnight Club: LA while I did some cleaning / watching of this hilarious video game. I just had to snap a pic of my man visiting one of his favorite real life places, HAH!

Thursday, 10/13/11
Today the man and I went to our favorite place for lunch - Panera! I ordered a you pick two with half man n cheese and half bacon turkey bravo and the man ordered a bowl of cream of chicken and wild rice and half bacon turkey bravo. After work we relaxed and watched some TV and eventually went to bed.

Wednesday, 10/12/11
After work today I went home to get dolled up a bit and met the bestie at our favorite local sushi place. We enjoyed some yummy rolls and she had some of their weird ice cream. Once we were done eating we headed back to my place and the man, bestie and I watched Law Abiding Citizen. As you can see Trixie feels like she can take up the whole couch just because we are watching a movie, but we had to remind her she can’t always spread out if we have guests over, hah!
